So I ask myself, am I writing about the Canucks again out of spite or valour? Will they disappoint again? Is it really their fault? Is it possible that politics will never allow the Vancouver Canucks the chance?

After witnessing the pathetic officiating on Sunday night, I have to review whether we are even given a fair chance to win the Stanley cup. I can only imagine the amount of Canucks fans yelling or worse throwing something at their flatscreen tv's after watching the clearly biased refs make the most obviously bad calls.
I once heard years ago from an unnamed NHL employee that we never had a chance at winning the Stanley Cup due to politics. I didn't believe a word of it and stood by the Canucks each year waiting our perfect season. The only reason I remember that conversation is because of the game I watched Sunday night. I have to wonder, are all sports becoming "organized"? Do the players actually get fair ref's? What's being said behind closed doors from the ones that have the money? I think folks that's what it comes down to...(old faithful)...the all might cheque book!! Does money make these decisions?

There truly is no reason for us to have not won Game 6. We played steady and kept our ground. The only reason we lost is, well really, do I have to state the obvious. I would like to think the NHL does not really think the public is that stupid and can't see what transpires during these games.

So here we are at game 7 at home........
Will we be golfing next week or preparing for our second series? Both will be trying to pick up a win with the line opening with Vancouver as a -165 favorite in this matchup. Let's see what tonigt has in store.
Game on bitches......
